Terrific Taiwan: Yeh Liu Geopark

It was pretty sunny on the day I went to Yehliu Geopark, but nothing is gonna stop me at marveling at nature's best creations! To get to this park, just board a Kuo Kuang bus from Taipei Main Station for NT102 (RM11 / USD3.4) and alight at Yehliu.

To get to the Geopark, there is a 10 minute walk through a quaint fishing town. Abundance of seafood restaurants are found along the route, and it no surprise if can spot some crab characters etched somewhere.

Entrance fee is only NT80 (RM8.60/USD2.70) and is opened all year round. You must be thinking, how could rocks be amazing? I had the same thought, but when you enter the park, it's a totally different feeling altogether.

The park encompasses 3 different areas where you can marvel at nature's greatest creations. And of course, take pictures till you are satisfied. The area is also surrounded by the ocean which made the experience even better!

The geopark was packed with people despite the warm weather. You can stroll through the main 3 areas of the park. Everywhere is Instagram material! :P

The most popular rock formation here is actually the Queen's Head, which is rumored to be gone in the next few years. D: People were actually lining up to have a picture of it. It is that popular.

And perhaps someday, a rock will take formation of myself. Heh heh.
