Biscuits Are Nothing!

Few months ago I joined the gym with my colleagues. One of our earliest dilemma is what should we eat before our gym session. I presume we need something light before our workout.

To my colleague, noodles are light meals while rice are the heavier meals.

And biscuits is basically nothing. LOL.

  6. Chee Ching, for pre-workout it always depend on how much time you have before a workout session. Nutrient timing is key.

  7. So for example if you have only 1 hour before workout. I would suggest eating something that is easily digestible (Eg; protein powder, banana, simple carbs). If you have more time like 2 hours go for mixed oatmeals, muesli etc. They take longer to digest but provide longer sustainable energy.
