Our very own #yorais is in trending topic in Twitter! If you do not know who is Rais, he's our minister who asked us Malaysians not to be so immersed in Twitter or Facebook.

As quoted:
"We are not saying that they cannot use Facebook or Twitter but when using such facilities they must upkeep the values taught by Islam, Buddhism or Christianity to maintain our culture," he told reporters after opening a Seminar on the 1Malaysia concept here on Saturday.
Everyone was flabbergasted. Social media can make us forget our culture and beliefs? Are we that shallow? Never ever underestimate the power of social media. He was made trending topic with the hashtag, #yorais. It was started by @bongkersz, and everything pretty much picked up on its own.

Sixth place, behind Kraft and Cadbury. I'm sure that #yorais can be pushed up, but I don't think it will gain the number 1 spot though. The last time any Malaysian that made to trend in Twitter was Yasmin Ahmad's death last year.
Some of my favorite #yorais tweets by the creative Malaysians. :P
@eleanorng: Rais is so ancient that he obviously thinks the word 'toupee' is the french spelling for topi@CincauHangus Rais is so ancient he was there to witness the dinosaurs dying #yorais@syahredzan#yorais is so ancient, when asked about 'good ol' days', he replies, "BC or AD?"@Hiphog Rais Yatim is so ancient he had weekly mahjong sessions with Yap Ah Loy
As I'm typing right now, #yorais is Top 5 already. Well, I really hope this do not go overboard. God knows what will happen then. ISA?

Before Yasmin Ahmad, another Malaysia made to the trending topic. That was Nizar Jamaluddin #nizar when the court ruled that he was the legal MB of Perak.
